Education Materials

Education MaterialsThe future of family farm agriculture depends heavily upon the interest and involvement of the next generation of consumers. With this in mind, National Farmers Union believes it is important to teach young people the positive attributes of fresh foods from local, sustainable family farms.

National Farmers Union creates educational materials for grades 1 through 12 that local, state and regional Farmers Union education leaders use in day classes, camps and other teaching opportunities. NFU also encourages the use of these educational materials in classrooms. For permission to reprint or link to these materials, please contact NFU’s Education Director Laura Johnston Monchuk, laura.monchuk@nfu.org. End
